Vitamin E 'could help prevent asthma'
0%
A study by scientists at Aberdeen University looked at the diets of more than 200 pregnant women and then analysed blood from the umbilical cords of their children for signs of sensitivity to common allergens. They found that the more the women ate foods that contain vitamin E, the less likely the children were to be sensitive to dust mites and grass pollen allergens, which can trigger asthma.
