Professional's Personal Site Good The Treatment and Control of Infantile Eczema

100%
Vote for this Article

Infantile eczema, otherwise known as Atopic Dermatitis or Atopic Eczema, is a chronic relapsing itchy disease of the skin. It may commence after the third month of life as a weepy rash on the face and outer surfaces of arms and legs and then progress in later childhood as a dry scaly itchy rash commonly of the inner creases of the elbows and knees. Some children may not outgrow eczema and the condition often continues into adulthood.

Your commentsMy three year old daughter has a severe case of eczema and I think this article has some very good advise about the different kinds of therapy I can use on her. I especially liked the advise about putting cotton gloves on her at night because this seems to be the time she itches the most. Thank you. From: Yolanda
