People with allergy symptoms, such as the runny nose of allergic rhinitis, may at first suspect they have a cold--but the "cold" lingers on. It is important to see a doctor
about any respiratory illness that lasts longer than a week or two.

I had a Vega test which showed a distressing amount of serious allergies and food intolerance. Gin showed to be the worst. I ate two bits of apple dunked in Pims and had my worst anaphylactic shock and spent 12 days in C.C.U and was transferred to the Midlesex hospital for cardiac catherisation. Pims contains Gin. From: N. Jones
I am extremely allergic for seafood. Have been to an ICU once because of this. I'm allergic to dairy products too.The Vega test didn't show up any of these. I am apparently allergic for petrol, but won't show any adverse reaction if I sniff some diesel. From: Martin Smit
Sullivan, Eggleston, Martinoff, and Kroenig from the UCLA pain management clinic have shown that there is an alteration at acupuncture points in skin conductivity based on pathology in patients. Stephen Barret writes of the actions of States attorney Generals, but not about science or medicine. He repeats the claim that a vegatest machine did not register any change when a glass vial was placed in the chamber, and that "that is not suprising, given that glass cannot conduct electricity." (the quote isn't exact, but that is the point he made.) When you take the time to read what the basis of the testing is, it does not revolve around whether glass will conduct electricty, but around the changes in skin resistance at acupuncture points under certain conditions. The flood of accusations which come from Barret and his ilk are numerous and time consuming to even track down, but when I do, I find very little substance. Good Luck. From: Ray Bartholomew
I'm confused about these devices, I had so many tests done and they each show a different allergy. I think these tests are a snapshot in time From: Anon
