Department of Chemistry, The University of Akron.

A searchable Hazardous Chemical Database.

www.tera.org/iter/welcome.htm International Toxicity Estimates for Risk (ITER) International Toxicity Estimates for Risk (ITER) USA
Database of risk values for chemicals of environmental concern.

ITER is a database of human health risk values and supporting information. This is a test version of a new ITER database expanded to118 chemical files, with information from U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) and Health Canada. Improvements to ITER include direct links to EPA's IRIS and to ATSDR's MRL page from each chemical file, and the ability to print reports.

The data are presented in a comparative fashion, allowing the user to view what conclusions each organization has reached. A brief explanation of differences continues to be provided. Information from the World Health Organization and the RIVM (The Netherlands) will be included in the near future.

www-ehs.ucsd.edu/msds.htm Material Safety Data Sheets Material Safety Data Sheets USA
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) provide a ready reference for the physical and hazardous properties of laboratory and industrial chemicals. A good knowledge of chemical properties may increase the likelihood of success for an experiment and will allow the research to be conducted in a safer manner. Review the MSDS before starting work with a new chemical.

Provided by UC-San Diego, includes links to many other sites containing chemical data sheets.
